Does anyone know where to purchase PT2256 (electronic volume controller IC) for Altec Lansing ACS 45.1?

If not, a better replacement will do.

Hi Tim,
Does PT2256 contols the power on switch?I have an Altec 45.1 and it will not on when you press the volume control at the same time...Help me out please.

Hi Sherwin, I've recently run into the same problem. I was able to find a replacement from Toshiba - IC # TC9235P. I found out that it is available thru Radio Shack RCU# 12070371. I went into a RS
